macOS Big Sur 11.3 beta adds better Reminders sorting, Safari customization, and more

Apple’s first macOS Big Sur 11.3 beta contains new additions like deeper customization options in Safari, support for the latest Xbox and PlayStation controllers, and more.

The company seeded the first beta of macOS Big Sur 11.3 to registered developers on Tuesday, just a day after releasing macOS 11.2 and the first beta versions of iOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4, and tvOS 14.5.

As noted by Rene Ritchie, the new macOS 11.3 beta includes redesigned tabs for Apple News+; a new Made for You shortcut and live events in Listen Now for Apple Music; and better sorting options in the Reminders app.

The first beta also contains iPhone and iPad app preference panes for keyboard touch alternatives and more customization options in Safari.

Like iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5, macOS 11.3 beta 1 also introduces support for the PlayStation 5 DualSense and Xbox Series X game controllers.

The macOS Big Sur 11.3 beta is currently available for registered developers, and a public beta version should be made available within a week.
